Graduate Level Professional Development Credits from UND

 In order for courses to be approved for 2900, graduate-level professional development transcripted credit, It must go through a very rigorous approval process not only by the Office of Extended Learning but by UND’s College of Education and Human Development. After the Office of Extended Learning’s initial review, the College of Education and Human Development’s final review includes a review of the course curriculum for content and rigor along with verification that the courses meet all of their requirements for 2900-level, graduate professional development credit. The following are the requirements that all Graduate Professional Development courses have to meet; the instructor of record must have at least a master’s degree in the field, there is enough work to meet the hours for the credit requested (i.e. 15hrs=1, 30hrs=2, 45hrs=3), the course content includes rigor and quality, and an assessment of learning that incorporates the teachers’ learning is included.
